Aesthetic Fancy
From the Heian period onwards, Japan's medieval history was marked by the significant development of Japanese-oriented arts and literature. Some of the most accomplished artists in history emerged during this era, and their works are still greatly appreciated by many even today. Many of the poets from the Heian to Kamakura periods (8c - 14c) lived in harmony with nature's rhythms through composing waka poetry that captured the subtleties of nature and human emotion through their sharp sensibilities. Their waka evoke aesthetic reverie, offering a sense of liberation from the ethical constraints and taboos of the world.
For me, photography is an attempt to transcend the boundaries of time and space, getting closer to their sensitivity.
